Abstract

This article is aimed to make a hermeneutic reading, from the perspective of women, of the person of St. Teresa of Jesus through some of her writings, highlighting the way she wrote and her creative thinking from that perspective. In her writings, she is presented as a fully resourceful woman using literary figures to describe and convey their experience of God, and her creative thinking suggests how spirituality should lead to the practice and the development of the feminine as such. Being both of them current possibilities of living the Christian spirituality.
