Abstract

The article presents a historiographical review of technology in Colombia from the last third of the 20th century until today. The review focused on two types of literature: on the one hand, economic history, including business and industrial history, and on the other, the social history of technology, showing the differences and connections between both analytical perspectives. The purpose is to establish a state of the art in the subject critically analyzing these contributions, emphasizing the positive contributions that the various currents have developed and, ultimately, promoting the opening of the black box of technology.
