Abstract

BUITRAGO ROA, LUIS MIGUEL  and  SUAREZ GUTIERREZ, MIGUEL ESTEBAN. History of the Political-Military Interaction Among Colombian Guerrillas, 1964-2015. Anu. colomb. hist. soc. cult. [online]. 2017, vol.44, n.2, pp.199-225. ISSN 0120-2456.  https://doi.org/10.15446/achsc.v44n2.64021.

The Colombian armed conflict includes much more than the mere confrontation between insurgency and State. One of these aspects is the interaction among the different non-State armed groups that sometimes coexisted in the same ideological or territorial space. The article carries out a periodization of the relations among Colombian guerrillas from 1958 to the present. In order to achieve this objective, the paper discusses the links among rebel groups and studies the ideological and territorial changes that led the guerrillas to modify the way they interrelated. The conclusion is that those interactions changed depending on diverse economic, political, and territorial factors
