The labor stress is defined as the injurious physical and emotional reactions that happen when the exigencies of the work do not equal the capacities, the resources or necessities of the anesthesiologist. When this one becomes excessive surpassing the tolerance of the organism can derive in serious consequences as it wears away in the health, professionally poor performance, repercussion in the security of the patient and the familiar life On the health can derive in physical diseases between which we emphasized gastritis ulcer gastro - duodenal arterial hypertension, arrhythmias, angor, reproductive alterations and to contribute to cause spontaneous abortions, psychic Deterioration - emotional as it distresses, depression, anxiety and suicide.trastornos in the conduct like alcoholism, aggressive conducts, I inhabit of consumption and drug dependency, intellectual upheavals like concentration difficulty, diminution of the alert status, works of low quality and alterations of the clinical performance. The familiar consequences is related to difficulties to balance the familiar life, failure bonds with children, problems in the pair relation. The Labor Consequences stand out the lack of labor interest, the labor absenteeism, to contribute to commit medical errors, in some cases can arrive at bad praxis and legal problems, taking all these situations to loss of professional image, in some occasions the abandonment or the change of the specialty as well as to the premature retirement of the medical practice.
