Abstract

ZUCCHI, Mariano Nicolás. AUTHORIAL SUBJECTIVITY IN LA PARANOIA BY RAFAEL SPREGELBURD: MOCKERY POSITIONING AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTELLECTUAL ETHOS AS A MECHANISM OF ENUNCIATIVE LEGITIMATION. Forma funcion, Santaf, de Bogot, D.C. [online]. 2020, vol.33, n.2, pp.167-186. ISSN 0120-338X.  https://doi.org/10.15446/fyf.v33n2.88470.

We propose to discuss the enunciative configuration of La paranoia by Rafael Spregelburd. Specifically, we study how the dramatic text constructs an image of its responsible (i.e., Spregelburd as «authorial ethos»). We zoom in on the play that generates a representation of the playwright as someone mocking the characters he is introducing. Likewise, we examine how the dramatic text provides this figure of speech with knowledge that links his figure to that of an «intellectual ethos». This representation intends to legitimate the author's positioning regarding the main characters of the diegesis. The perspective of our work is the dialogic approach to argumentation and polyphony.

Keywords : authorial ethos; polyphony; dramatic text; Spregelburd; subjectivity.
