The objective of this study was to explore the impact of an ICT formative process through wikis on the beliefs, attitudes, and competences of a group of English teachers. The study used action research to describe and interpret the experience of the participants. Descriptive statistics and content analysis were combined to analyze the data collected through surveys, diaries, questionnaires, and interviews. Results indicate that English teachers must first focus on their ICT opinions, dispositions and abilities before embarking on the development of technological practices and processes
