Abstract

CHOIS LENIS, Pilar Mirely  and  JARAMILLO ECHEVERRI, Luis Guillermo. Research on writing in graduate studies: state of the art. Leng. [online]. 2016, vol.44, n.2, pp.227-259. ISSN 0120-3479.

In order to write the State of the Art about research in graduate writing, a corpus of 52 documents published in Spanish is analyzed. The results show a tendency to study the Masters' level, the last stage of graduate education, the student population, the humanity and social science programs, and issues such as the factors that facilitate or hinder writing and the students' writing problems. There seems to be agreement on the need that the graduate programs have to be responsible for the writing training of the graduate students; however, questions such as how and why are still under discussion

Keywords : writing studies; graduate studies; research.
