The Covid-19 pandemic significantly affected the emotional state of university students, which impacted the conceptualization and representation of emotions in everyday language. The objective of this study is to establish the lexical field of emotionality and to determine how conceptual semantic relationships are structured among the emotive lexicon associated with the pandemic. The systematic terminological methodology was used as a starting point and two lexical cards were constructed to record the emotive lexicon; subsequently, the systematization of the results was realized through the structuring of the lexical field of emotiveness in pandemic and the theory of prototypes. The data were analyzed under the conceptual semantic relations of terminology. The lexical field of emotionality in the pandemic was determined and it was evidenced that the emotional experience of university students during the coronavirus crisis was negative, with high levels of boredom and dissatisfaction.
