RESTREPO TOBON, Christian Andrés. Pragmatic-Discursive Analysis of the Routine Formula ‘¡no jodás!’ in Written Contexts in the City of Medellín Its Metropolitan Area. Leng. [online]. 2025, vol.53, n.1, e20414545. Epub 05-Mayo-2025. ISSN 0120-3479. https://doi.org/10.25100/lenguaje.v53i1.14545.
This article presents a descriptive study on the pragmatic-discursive functions of the routine formula ¡no jodás!, analyzing it in its contexts of occurrence to determine the illocutionary forces with which it is fixed. Routine formulas appear in specific communicative situations where speakers use them with defined functions; therefore, their use is linked to habitual, stereotyped, or ritualized situations. For this research, the proposals of Corpas (1996), Alvarado (2008), and Penadés (2015) in the field of phraseology are taken as references, as well as the works of Haverkate (1994), Austin (1962), and Searle (1969) in the field of pragmatics. The corpus is compiled exclusively from written texts. The results identified three illocutionary forces within the routine formula: reproach, expression of astonishment, and disagreement. Finally, methodological considerations regarding the analysis are presented, along with suggestions for future research that may address this routine formula from perspectives not explored in this study.
