Abstract

This paper explores the widely mentioned perception gap existing between entrepreneurs and investors. A survey on the topic and an interview with entrepreneurs and joint investors serves as a basis for the setting up of a method intended to close the gap in order to facilitate investor-entrepreneur matching by means of a better perception of project value. The paper confirms the existence of the gap, lists the advantages of the method proposed, and points out future research avenues.
