Abstract

This article seeks to identify elements of mining and economic character that allows to give a contribution to the planning of the mining sector and an implementation of technical and environmental improvements in projects of mining exploitation in the department of Antioquia. The dynamism of the mining Colombian sector has come showing in the last years a great summit and growth, and it has generated a series of unknowns on the real importance and the positive impact that could generate the mining activity in the economic and social development of the Antioquiadepartment.
