Abstract
KERGUELEN BENDECK, JORGE LUIS; GONZALEZ MARTINEZ, VICTOR ALFONSO and JIMENEZ BUILES, JOVANI ALBERTO. TECHNIQUES FOR DETERMINING PARAMETERS IN THE PREPARATION OF A FAN CIRCUIT IN UNDERGROUND COAL MINING USING PROGRAMMING STRUCTURED. Bol. cienc. tierra [online]. 2013, n.33, pp.155-162. ISSN 0120-3630.
Coal mining takes increasingly important, not only for the reason of growing demand directly related by the energy industry, if not also the risks that put endanger the lives and welfare of workers in underground mining of ore. Taking this as a starting point and being aware of the high number of accidents that have occurred in this type of work in recent years, especially tragedies related to poor ventilation of mines, this investigation has as purpose from programming techniques determining key parameters for the design of a ventilation system in an underground mining, which leads to decreased of problems associated to ventilation in mining operations and the generation of awareness of the importance of the activity bearing in mind that the physical integrity of the staff at the mine must be guaranteed and that mining with computing are at the vanguard in solving problems associated with their applications.
