MANSUR GARDA, Juan Carlos. The challenge of beauty and dwell in the future of the global city. Bol. cienc. tierra [online]. 2021, n.50, pp.39-45.  Epub 09-Fev-2022. ISSN 0120-3630.  https://doi.org/10.15446/rbct.n50.96764.

This article reflects on the place that beauty will have in the cities of the future based on the challenges faced by global cities. These have degraded the quality of life of its inhabitants as a consequence of planning life and cities with a rationalist vision, and in the case of the capitalist city it goes so far as to manipulate the aesthetic experience, making it a means of consumption. Two great challenges will face the cities of the future: on the one hand, overcoming the inertia imposed by the current building and designing cities based on the phenomenological proposal of space, which puts the person at the center of design, and secondly, that the rationalist vision is overcome in exchange for a vision that manages to integrate work, beauty and life.
