Abstract

JIMENEZ ROMERO, Juan Carlos. Pertinence of the Pragmalinguistic Analysis in Latin American Biblical Theology. Theol. Xave. [online]. 2016, vol.66, n.182, pp.395-420. ISSN 0120-3649.  https://doi.org/10.lll44/javeriana.tx66-182.paptbl.

The pragmalinguistic analysis is one of the most recent biblical interpretation methods. It includes the valuable contributions of the precedent methods and also broadens its scope of comprehension toward the pragmatic consequences that biblical texts have by nature, in communicating something, to someone, in a determined context, with a specific intention. When this analysis is confronted with the to see-to judge-to act method, which is particularly used in the Latin American Pastoral and Theology, it is posible to understand that this kind of analysis is pertinent to the research carried out in the continent, in the specific field of Biblical Theology, due to its proximity, affinity and complementarity.

Keywords : Análisis pragmalingûístico; método teológico-pastoral; teología bíblica; exégesis bíblica; teología bíblica latinoamericana.
