Abstract

ARBOLEDA RAMIREZ, Paulo Bernardo  and  ARISTIZABAL, José Fredy. Constitutional jurisprudential study on freedom of expression and press in Colombia: media, cen sorship and self-censorship. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2018, vol.48, n.129, pp.375-400. ISSN 0120-3886.  https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v48n129.a03.

In some States, which provide high protection of the right of information and freedom of expression, most likely out of fear of their governments falling into any form of censorship, there is a wide margin of consideration with regard to their legislation which has reached the point of creating the judicial belief that there is an imbalance in their execution with respect to another fundamental right, such as the right to Due Process.

Keywords : Information freedom; expression freedom; due process; censorship; democracy.
