OBIOL ANAYA, Erik. Strategic management thinking and its impact on the sustainability of SMEs in Chiclayo, Peru 2020-2022. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2023, vol.53, n.138, pp.1-.  Epub 22-Maio-2023. ISSN 0120-3886.  https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v53n138.a4.

Strategic management thinking is the management tool by excellence, thanks to it, we can establish optimal decision-making criteria which, in turn, can ensure greater reliability of the possible results when making decisions about business. This type of thinking is very common in managers of big companies due to their knowledge and preparation for the use of management tools, however, this type of knowledge is usually very scarce and even non-existent in small companies, because generally these are managed by their owners who do not necessarily have management knowledge. Due to this, this scientific essay seeks to make a real measurement of the level of technical knowledge of small entrepreneurs in Chiclayo, Peru, to establish whether the lack of this type of skills directly affects the continuous bankruptcy of business of the region, since by detecting the real deficiency, the necessary communication channels can be established to provide technical support that allows small entrepreneurs in the region to achieve goals that allow them to develop their businesses, thus eliminating the risk of bankruptcy.
