Abstract

NARODOWSKI, Mariano  and  MARTINEZ BOOM, Alberto. Why Does Private Education Expands? Contributions to Global Debate. Rev. colomb. educ. [online]. 2016, n.70, pp.17-26. ISSN 0120-3916.

The controversy about the government of education seems to update permanently. During the last three decades, education privatization has become more and more relevant, to the extent that it transforms and mutes the place of the State, family, subjects and, particularly, that of education markets. This article presents some explanations and compares transnational policies that share an obvious re-engineering of the public.

Keywords : Public school; private school; school governance; schooling; education markets.
