Abstract

RENGIFO CARPINTERO, John Alexis; PINILLO, Elena Maritza  and  DIAZ CAICEDO, Carmen Helena. The Paradox of Academic Space: To Discipline Without Discipline. Rev. colomb. educ. [online]. 2016, n.70, pp.341-359. ISSN 0120-3916.

This article is a problematization of contemporary school space in its seductive, instructional-informative, and commercial disciplinary function, to the extent that it does not appeal any longer to the former disciplining (repressive) action, to become a paradoxical space. This space is constantly violated by the student's narrative uniqueness. In this educational event the roles of teacher and student have been transformed by the logics of a digitalized world. What exists today is discipline without disciplining. But, what kind of discipline is imposed today?

Keywords : Discipline; academic space; cyberspace; digital world; informative seduction.
