This article presents some of the results of a doctoral research addressed to understand, in narratives of a group of ex-combatants who were recruited by armed groups as children, and the characteristics and confrontations they pose to the school and to education in their reintegration process. The participants interviewed in this study were members of the FARC and ELN guerrillas, and paramilitary groups. From their narratives about their human experience, their school experiences before, during and after their enrolment are closely known. In addition, characteristics and confrontations about the school and the teacher are identified, which could be considered and problematized in the school project for the so-called post-agreement.
