Abstract

RODRIGUEZ VALBUENA, Luisa F.. Some quiestions for industrial engineering education in Colombia. cuad.adm. [online]. 2012, vol.28, n.48, pp.91-103. ISSN 0120-4645.

Herein, we sought to analyze the configuration of teachable learning processes in industrial engineering in Colombia, both in its inception and currently, corresponded with modernization statements, adopted and imposed by our engineering schools, without further thought, which are now widely questioned worldwide because they serve as instruments for the extractivism of our natural resources and impoverishment, dispossession and eviction of our peoples..This work seeks to provide some initial arguments to encourage new dynamic forms of circulation of knowledge different from those that gave rise to this field in our country. With the help of some of the most renowned thinkers of these times, through the light of Bourdieu´s field' theory and power theories that Michael Foucault proposed we try to answer these questions that make us ponder on the task of trying to be teachers

Keywords : industrial engineering education; fields theory by bourdieu; Colombia; modernization; development.
