Abstract

SOARES DA COSTA, César Augusto. Conceptual Assumptions on the Formation of Materialism of Marx. Prax. filos. [online]. 2010, n.31, pp.61-72. ISSN 0120-4688.

This article analyzes the structure and place of materialism in the light of the philosophy of Hegel and Feuerbach and their relationships, principles and influences on the formation of the materialism of Karl Marx. Since the principle engine of dialectic philosophy of Hegel, Marx will make use of dialectic to develop methodologically materialistic philosophy, thus contrasting the idealism of Hegel's dialectic. For this task we use the central categories in Hegel and Marx that allows passage from the particular to universal, as Hegel.

Keywords : Dialectical Materialism; Idealism; Philosophy; Hegel; Marx.
