Abstract

PAOLICCHI, Leandro. Act and Speak Preliminary Notes for a Transcendental Pragmatic Theory of Action. Prax. filos. [online]. 2011, n.32, pp.57-72. ISSN 0120-4688.

The present paper aims to point out which are the structural conditions that human action presents when it is understood from the perspective of the transcendental pragmatic of Karl-Otto Apel. From this point of view, the main thesis that it seeks to defend is that human actions under the vision of transcendental pragmatics contain structural symmetries with the speech acts. The paper in the first part (1) points out which are the preconditions that must be taken into account to arrive at the thesis mentioned. In a second section (2) seeks to provide arguments in a discussion with two positions that held that the rationality conditions of both forms of action are completely different. Finally, a third section (3) draw some conclusions from the discussion in the previous section and summarizes the structural symmetries between both kind of actions.

Keywords : Karl-Otto Apel; Transcendental pragmatic; Actions; Validity claims.
