Abstract

ZULUAGA GIRALDO, Conrado  and  GARCIA RESTREPO, Gladis del Socorro. María Zambrano: a new phenomenology about education. Prax. filos. [online]. 2013, n.37, pp.193-208. ISSN 0120-4688.

This article seeks to highlight the thought of María Zambrano in relation to education. For this, we will refer to some of her manuscripts: The Classroom, The life of classrooms, The mirror of classrooms, and Between seeing and hearing; since the components treated there about classroom, attention and senses are actually relevant, especially due to the fact that today’s technological advancements require new forms of thinking and expressing significance and this, in effect, brings about challenges to the academic community. For this challenge, philosophy warns that teachers, regardless to the resources that mediate teaching-learning process, must sustain the humanistic approach to education, and above all during this time when dehumanization is gaining grounds and acceptance in today’s inhumane world

Keywords : Classroom; attention; senses; teacher; disciple.
