Abstract

RODRIGUEZ JARAMILLO, Antonio. Foucault, the real, the philosophy. Prax. filos. [online]. 2015, n.40, pp.207-228. ISSN 0120-4688.

Foucault redefines philosophy in its very heart and practice folding in a very specific way the notions of «the real» and «the true». This process highlights some tensions: on what grounds can the philosopher support that philosophical speech does not tell the truth of "the real" but that, in the meanwhile, it is not out of the truth? And, if the philosophical speech does not tell the truth of the real, how could philosophy become real?

Keywords : Foucault; the Real; Alethurgy; Philosophy; Regime of Thruth; Cynicism.
