Abstract

SALERNO, Gustavo. Convergent ethics as a response to the unilateralism of individualization and universalization. Prax. filos. [online]. 2017, n.44, pp.81-106. ISSN 0120-4688.

The work shows how some representatives of contemporary philosophical ethics have not saved the difficulties inaugurated Kant's categorical imperative , resulting in a unilateralization of the principles of individualization and universalization. That this is so , and that can be corrected without delay or exclude any of these requirements is an important contribution to the " convergent ethics" developed by the argentine philosopher Ricardo Maliandi. At this writing fundamentals rebuild those difficulties and this research program from the perspective of the antagonistic consideration of the individual and the universal. You will see that this opposition is to Maliandi , only one aspect of the ethos of conflict , and how their clarification is reached showing , through an innovative resource in ethical analysis, that the principles collide not only them but they also oppose other senses that are inherent in that order. The paper ends with a personal assessment about the contribution made by the convergent ethics.

Keywords : Individualization; universalization; ethics; convergence; conflict..
