Abstract

MARTIN NIETO, Rebeca. Web Communication by ngdos. Signo pensam. [online]. 2007, n.51, pp.130-136. ISSN 0120-4823.

This article describes a case study on the communication that ngdos have through the Internet, particularly those that have received formal recognition for their work by the aeci (Spanish acronym for Spanish International Cooperation Agency). Findings show that ngdos are well aware of the need to be on the network, of the opportunities they have to improve their websites in terms of design, interactivity, access, etc, and of the need for further research in this field in order to develop web communication strategies to satisfy the needs of non-profit organizations.

Keywords : communication; Non-governmental Development Organizations; Internet; development.
