Abstract

Este artículo analiza el "etnoarte indígena" a partir de los conceptos valor simbólico y valor económico, valor signo y valor símbolo y, al mismo tiempo, examina su transformación en souvernir turístico. Se busca profundizar en el asunto teniendo como presupuestos teóricos las representaciones sociales y las resignificaciones de las manifestaciones culturales indígenas. Por último, se investigan los cambios que surgen debido al mercado y al turismo.
