Abstract

This article compiles Omar Villota Hurtado's (MA in digital communication and expert in documentary information networks) experience in digital curatorship while working for the 100th birthday celebrations of Father Rafael García Herrero (founder of the Minuto de Dios neighborhood and organization). Villota makes innovative and creative use of CITs in order to collect oral lore to build a specific collective memory and, in doing so get the acknowledgement of that particular cultural heritage. This article has been enhanced in its digital publication with hyperlinks that allow the reader to connect with the authors or the particular experiences therein mentioned.
