Abstract

URBANCZYK, MARIA; HERNANDEZ, YESID FERNANDO  and  URIBE REYES, CATALINA. University audiovisual production practices reflected in the works  presented at the university audiovisual display 'Ventanas 2005-2009'. Signo pensam. [online]. 2011, vol.30, n.59, pp.264-281. ISSN 0120-4823.

This article presents the results of the inquiry into university audiovisual production in Colombia, from the entries in the "Muestra Audio-Visual Universitaria Ventanas" during the period 2005 - 2009. The studies of those proposals cover in the fullest manner possible the process of audiovisual production made by the students, since the birth of the idea to the final product, circulation and socialization of its. It was found that the most recurrent themes are violence and feelings, reflected from different genres, aesthetic treatments and conceptual approaches. In the absence of researches that legitimize the knowledge that occurs within the classroom in the audiovisual field in Colombia, this research aims to open a way to demonstrate the contribution that young people leave in the consolidation of a national narrative and the preservation of the memory of the country.

Keywords : Audiovisual production practices; creative processes; audiovisual narratives; university students; mediations; identity; violence; feelings; Audio - visual materials - Production - Research -- Colombia.
