^les^aFrente a la tarea que realizan los "historiadores de las ideas" inspirados en el proyecto de Leopoldo Zea, es necesaria una reflexión más filosófica sobre la historia y su sentido en Latinoamérica. La hermenéutica analógica aporta algunos supuestos necesarios para emprender esta tarea, superar lo unívoco de los relatos racionalistas y lo equívoco de los postmodernos, y en suma, las ideologías sobre la historia. Repensar el sentido de la historia no quiere decir elaborar un discurso anticipador sobre el cómo, el dónde y el cuándo habrá de terminar la historia. Se trata más bien de "un discurso performativo" que invita a implicarse en la realidad histórica para transformarla, no en términos de una ideología, sino en términos de afirmación, de perdón, de diálogo, de acción. La esperanza es el sentimiento que ha de fundamentar el sentido filosófico de la comprensión histórica.^len^aFaced with the task performed by the "historians of ideas" inspired by Leopoldo Zea's project, more philosophical reflection on history and its meaning in Latin America is required. The analogical hermeneutic provides some assumptions necessary to undertake this task, overcoming univocal rationalist accounts, postmodern ambiguity and, in short, ideologies of history. Rethinking the meaning of history does not mean anticipatory discourse on how, where and when it will finish. It is rather "a performative speech," inviting to engage in historical reality to transform it, not in terms of ideology but in terms of affirmation, forgiveness, dialogue and action. Hope is the feeling needed to substantiate the philosophical meaning of historical understanding.
