Health sciences demands from its students a series of disciplinary competences and investigative approach for their adecuate formation. Ii is well known that in most professions the students do not receive the proper tools essential in their cualitative approach as a part of their academical formation. Nevertheless such cuantitative model is not the only way to research provided that the qualitative one is equally relevant. The purpose of this paper is both to review the concepts involved in health science education as well as reflect on this essential feature regarding the new professionals.
