Objective: To implement a program of motor skills in children victims of physical abuse. This is a cuasixperimental study in which the program applies Stimulation Motor Skills Poymocor formulated by the group at Universidad Libre, to a target population comprised of 16 children victims of physical abuse in the city of Barranquilla, which met with the inclusion criteria: having been victims of physical abuse and free from muscleskeletal congenital alterations. The participation of children was voluntary, prior authorization of the NGO that is caring for abused children. The study was approved by the Research Centre of the Universidad Libre. For data analysis, we used SPSS to estimate the frequencies of sociodemographic variables, and means and standard deviations for each Psychomotor Battery (BPM) subfactor Vitor Da Fonseca. Materials and methods: Used as a measuring tool in this project. Significant differences between mean scores for each subfactor result of the evaluation before and after the intervention were established on Students t-test. Results: Showed that the stimulation program is effective in improving motor skills. Conclusions: We conclude that physical abuse sequelae interfere with the acquisition and development of motor skills, but stimulation programs made by the research group, in this case, are effective to regain abilities and motor skills.
