This approach allows epidemiology and surveillance services to deepen their knowledge of the disease, collect historical data on pandemic episodes, characterize vulnerabilities, develop hypotheses and intervene risk factors in a given environmental and sociocultural context with local action and a global perspective. A syndemic approach is considered, in such such a way that it combines aspects of interconnected social determinants and deepening in the pandemic.
