Abstract
HENAO JARAMILLO, Simón. THE MELANCHOLIC FIGURATION OF COMMUNITY IN EL TOQUE DE DIANA. Linguist.lit. [online]. 2013, n.63, pp.73-94. ISSN 0120-5587.
This paper investigates the community configuration in the novel El toque de Diana, which is part of the Femina suite trilogy by Colombian writer R. H. Moreno-Durán. Seeking to take distance from the ways established by the hegemony of magic realism, Moreno Durán's narrative set a mode of subjectivity experience related more to the disenchantment than to utopia. This triggers the ways to fictionalize relationships between subjects pertaining to such an experience. One of these forms corresponds to what has been named as the "melancholic community" in this paper.
