Abstract

TORO HENAO, Diana Carolina. ORALITURE AND ORAL TRADITIONS: A PROPOSAL OF ANALYSIS OF THE ORAL ARTISTIC FORMS. Linguist.lit. [online]. 2014, n.65, pp.239-256. ISSN 0120-5587.

This article offers a methodological proposal of analysis to the oral traditions, based on the work of the Peruvian researcher Enrique Ballón Aguirre. The methodology concentrates on the study of the topics of artistic oral forms from a motifemical analysis, i.e. one that is based on motifemas or concreted realizations of a motive. It was carried out a study of eight narrative ethnotexts from the Pacific Afro Colombian community and of ten ethnotexts from the Cuiba, Kogui and Páez indigenous communities.
