Lexical availability accounts mental lexicon and the access to its lexical units. Using the computer tool DispoGrafo, this research shows semantic webs related to lexical availability of Bogotá, Colombia, students (5th and 11th grades). These semantic webs belong to a single topic, human body. Results reveal that cognitive-semantic and linguistic mechanisms underlie these webs.
