This article presents an analysis of the main morphological units related to the noun and the verb in Wounan, an Amerindian language spoken by the Wounan community, located in the Pacific region of Colombia. This study is the result of the analysis of data obtained in six periods of fieldwork carried out between 1998 and 2014. It constitutes a research from the perspective of descriptive linguistics.
