BENITO DEL VALLE ESKAURIAZA, Amelia. AWARENESS, BELIEFS AND SOCIOLINGUISTIC ATTITUDES IN THE LINGUISTIC OPTION OF WRITTEN TEXTS IN INITIAL TRAINING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS. Linguist.lit. [online]. 2023, n.84, pp.40-60. Epub 27-Nov-2023. ISSN 0120-5587. https://doi.org/10.17533/udea.lyl.n84a02.
The linguistic option of written texts that favor linguistic practice in Basque is linked to sociolinguistic awareness, beliefs and linguistic attitudes of students in initial primary teacher training. The qualitative research carried out on second-year students at the Faculty of Education at the University of the Basque Country, highlights the need to deepen these concepts. The data obtained indicate that these students develop a linguistic performance tending to the Spanish language when opting for non-obligatory written texts but linked to the teaching-learning process.
