Abstract

MOSQUERA, Walter et al. Colombian Cardiovascular Foundation experience in the correction of transposition of the great vessels with ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis through the aortic translocation technique (Nikaidoh). Rev. Col. Cardiol. [online]. 2007, vol.14, n.6, pp.395-398. ISSN 0120-5633.

Aortic translocation technique has been described as an alternative to the surgical treatment of patients with translocation of the great vessels, ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis. In this article, a brief description of the technique employed is done as well as a revision of two cases that underwent surgery with this technique in the Colombian Cardiovascular Foundation.
