Abstract

Colombian Cardiovascular Foundation experience in the correction of transposition of the great vessels with ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis through the aortic translocation technique (Nikaidoh). Rev. Col. Cardiol. [online]. 2007, vol.14, n.6, pp.395-398. ISSN 0120-5633.

Aortic translocation technique has been described as an alternative to the surgical treatment of patients with translocation of the great vessels, ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis. In this article, a brief description of the technique employed is done as well as a revision of two cases that underwent surgery with this technique in the Colombian Cardiovascular Foundation.
