Introduction:

Cardiovascular disease in woman has been an issue with plenty of investigations towards the finding of the most determinant risk factors o the specific molecular paths to explain the increased risk in women compared to men.

Methods:

A PUBMED and Google Scholar search was performed with MeSH and common terms and were obtained some cross-references at the discretion of the authors.
