CAPOTE, Joanna; LLANTEN, Carlos Julián; PARDO, César  e  COLLAZOS, César. Knowledge management in a software process improvement program in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises: KMSPI Model. Rev.fac.ing.univ. Antioquia [online]. 2009, n.50, pp.205-216. ISSN 0120-6230.

During the realization of the programs of Software Process Improvement (SPI), a great quantity of knowledge is generated that is necessary to manage, knowledge assets such as Learned Lessons, Better Practices, Experiences, Problems and Solutions that contribute not only as individual learning but to the same program. This paper presents the model outlined to manage knowledge assets generated during the execution of the programs of SPI, at the same time that it settles down like an initiative to create a culture guided toward the Knowledge Management (KM). The Knowledge Management Model for the Programs of Software Processes Improvement, Model KMSPI, has been validated in two SMES, in those that Communities of Practice were created (CoP) with the purpose of carrying out inside them each one of the processes outlined by the model.

Palavras-chave : Knowledge management; software process improvement; SMES; knowledge assets; communities of practice.
