Abstract

Main hypothesis intended to be shown in this article is that main objective of a competitive company before a globalized economy is to meet consumer’s needs. Financial results and innovative vocation depend on this. First, industry is defined and differences between what creating a company means in knowledge and post-industrial era and what it meant in the industrial era. Finally, it is intended to give an opinion about Colombian industry reality, its challenges, and consequences before the economic globalization process.
