Abstract

The meaning of public property is maybe difficult to be given under current political, economic, and social conditions. For that reason, this article develops some historical-theoretical considerations about public property concept since ancient times until modernity, with the purpose of comparing it with some reflections on globalization process, and finally showing a strong influence of new actors (politicians) on todays public environment.
