Abstract

MUNOZ CARDONA, Ángel Emilio. CITIZENSHIP: A UNIVERSAL DUTY. Semest. Econ. [online]. 2014, vol.17, n.35, pp.193-204. ISSN 0120-6346.

The citizenship concept as a universal duty has its foundations on the broad developments around information technology. Which bring closer different cultures thought the so-called natural feelings of sympathy for human been dignity. At the beginning of the discussion the concept of citizenship seen directly as a relation of exclusivity or status between the individual and the state of legality will be broadened and seen more as universal human equality; meaning by this, the recognition of all human beings as individuals who feel and are equal between them. In all social rules of law the concept of citizenship must be seen as something larger, given to the relation it has with natural human actions, through which different imaginaries are expressed in the pursuit of a better quality of life and happiness for oneself and the family.

Keywords : Citizenship; sympathy feelings; globalization; safety; security and mobility.
