Abstract
LOPEZ-RODRIGUEZ, Campo Elias; GONGORA-MOGOLLON, Diego Fabián and RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ, Johan Gilberto. STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP STYLE AS A DETERMINANT FOR BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY IN THE SERVICE SECTOR. Semest. Econ. [online]. 2023, vol.26, n.61, a4463. Epub Dec 21, 2023. ISSN 0120-6346. https://doi.org/10.22395/seec.v26n61a4463.
The objective of this research is to identify the relationship between strategic leadership styles and their role as determinants for market sustainability, based on the perception of employees in a service sector organization in Colombia. A quantitative correlational study was conducted among a population of 137 employees, using Chi-square statistics, simple correspondences, and symmetric normalization through SPSS® software version 26.0. Findings highlight that academic training and management areas where employees work are closely related to their leaders' level of decision-making, their commitment to decision-making, and trust in subordinates. It is concluded that characterizing different leadership styles will contribute to business sustainability through managerial processes within organizations.
