Abstract

RAMIREZ SALAZAR, María del Pilar  and  GARCIA VALDERRAMA, Manuel. The University-Company- State Alliance: a strategy to promote innovation. Rev. esc.adm.neg [online]. 2010, n.68, pp.112-133. ISSN 0120-8160.

The agents of economic development of our country- university, state and company-are interacting in an articulated way in common projects aiming at promoting different types of innovation in the economic sectors of each region. Colombia has taken the right road to take advantage of synergies and the application of successful experiences . It aims at consolidating the committees for university- state- company alliances of our country, fostering policies on science, innovation and technology, the link between the managerial sector and the academy and the social compromise of the universities to support projects of articulated research. The three agents should be engaged , having a clear vision to support managerial, entrepreneurial and innovation initiatives of researchers and entrepreneurs that have been involved in the innovation cluster to make common developments. It is our responsibility to support and foster these regional actions that are still being consolidated given the benefits for the economic sectors. A step for international recognition has started that needs to be strengthened, surprising through useful research projects, development and innovation for the company and for the society in general.
