Objectives: To determine the prevalence and clinical characteristics of patients with Müllerian anomalies consulting a fertility clinic in the coffee-region (Pereira) in Colombia. Methods: We performed a cross-sectional study in patients with a diagnosis of Müllerian anomaly in the center of assisted reproduction In Ser Pereira in the coffe-region, between January 1, 2005 and April 30, 2008. We used chi-square test. Results: Of a total of 731 patients attending specialized outpatient medical center In Ser-Pereira, in the coffee-region, 62 patients met inclusion criteria, we found a prevalence of 8.4 %. The most frequent anomalies were in order: septate uterus, arcuate uterus and uterus didelphys. The method of initial diagnosis was transvaginal ultrasonography and confirmation and treatment was perfomed with simultaneous hysteroscopy-laparoscopy. Conclusion: Müllerian anomalies are a common condition with important implications for reproductive and obstetricians should be sought systematically in all cases of infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, preterm birth and abnormal fetal presentations. Transvaginal ultrasonography has a high specificity for the initial diagnosis
