In october the 29th of 1914 the 53th law established the Medicina Legal National Service, but since the Spanish conquer, colony, the independence and the earlier years of the Republic are known some scientifics acts that made the difference from the regular empiricism of those years. From the end of the XIX century and the second decade of the XX century, to the Law promulgation, the Academias de Medicina de Medellín and the Academia Nacional de Medicina, started systematically the efforts to put in medical terms experts concepts.
