Abstract

The hepatitis A is an infectious-contagious viral illness, characterized by a process systemic inflammation with hepatic selectivity of high incidence at worldwide. Their clinical spectrum understands from the forms no symptoms until the forms cholestatic but complicated. The persistence of the jaundice for but of three days, together with the marked levels very high bilirubin they should make us suspect that we are before a presentation of cholestatic hepatitis A. Apart from the elevation of the transaminases, there is elevation of the alkaline phosphatase and cholesterol
