Abstract

The eosinophilic esophagitis (EE) is a disease produced by the presence of eosinophilic infiltration in the esophagus, in absence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), it attends with dysphagia, food impaction in esophagus, heartburn and in children the vomits and regurgitations are frequent. We presented the case of a woman who consults by dysphagia of long evolution; the endoscopic study with esophageal biopsies is made, diagnosing an EE. After making treatment with topical corticoids improvement of dysphagia.
